In loving memory of Akindeji S Agarah

It is with the heaviest heart that we write to share the devastating news of the sudden departure of our Son, Brother, Fiancé, and Friend Akindeji Samuel Agarah, who went to be with the Lord on August 6th, 2023. Deji was playing soccer, scored a goal and later in the game suddenly fell and started gasping for breath. His teammates and medical personnel on site administered CPR until the emergency services got there. He was rushed to the hospital, where the doctors did everything they could, but he eventually gave up the ghost.

Akindeji was an angel on earth, his humility was next to none. He was a respectful gentleman who loved deeply and made sure everyone knew they had a place in his life. He was caring, he gave at every opportunity he had. He showed up for his friends and loved ones. Being the first child of the family, he always cared for and constantly worried about all his siblings. He was, in his own way, a pillar for us all. It’s true you never know the value of what you have until you lose it because now that he’s gone, it’s dawned on us how big a hole he left behind.

So many people have reached out to ask how they can help and be a part of the process of burying Akindeji, we the family have decided to use this as an avenue for everyone to be involved in the process of saying goodbye to him. We ask that you kindly donate toward the funeral expenses. The details for the funeral will be shared with everyone via social media as soon as it becomes available.
