In loving memory of Alejandro .J. Melendez

Our dear brother, son, father, family member, friend, and to some a fellow Marine, Alejandro Melendez left our earth too soon. Following a long battle with his health. Wednesday 10/05/22 at 3:59 PM he was declared deceased. Thankful to the doctors at HCA Health Care in Conroe, out of respect for our family left him intubated in an effort to make time for family to come pay their respects and say goodbye. On Thursday 10/06/22 our dear brother was taken off life support.
Although our hearts have been once again shattered eight months following the loss of our wonderful Mother. We remain strong in faith, our love is grand and without the support of family and friends we come together and remain united.
Although the family was aware of his declining health we continued to make sure that his healthcare was current. We were not prepared to say goodbye to our loved one so soon. Selfishly we wanted more time. We all did. But our family finds solace in knowing that he is restored and is no longer suffering, and was embraced by our Mom and fellow loved ones who have passed.
An excerpt from his Eulogy written out from his fellow Marine Brother Oliver.
“Well done Marine, my good and faithful servant, enter into the joys of your lord.”
“O God, we come to you in prayer for our departed brother Hondo, and once more we beseech you to receive his soul into the joys your kingdom.”
We have received many calls messages and have been asked how friends and family can be of assistance. We ask for many prayers during this difficult time but if anyone sees fit to assist in any other way please know that we appreciate anything that can be given. On behalf of the Melendez family we love you all.
