In Loving Memory of Alex Banez

It is with a heavy heart to share the passing of Arturo Alexis “ALEX” Banez, Jr. on August 2, 2020. For those of you that knew him, you knew that he was a fighter (maybe in more ways than one!). Alex fought till the very end — so much so, that none of us thought it was the end just yet. Alex was 47 years old.



 

They — meaning anyone — will tell you that you should prepare for death. Death is inevitable. No one is too good to beat it. Well Alex deserved to, if anyone. He brightened the lives of so many with his goofiness, his loyalty, and friendship. Alex was so rare. Heaven truly gained an angel to be reckoned with — in the best way…and we know his son Kalani was waiting up above with open arms to greet his dad.



 

As you can imagine, his family was not at all prepared for the financial responsibility that comes along with a proper celebration of life service and burial. That is why I am reaching out to you all in hopes that you’ll show your support.

 

So you know exactly where your donation will be used, the family is planning a modest but proper ceremony and are asking for donations in lieu of flowers or gifts. Every little bit helps.

Thank you so much for even considering to donate and for taking the time to read about our crazy loving brother/friend/uncle/son/cousin Alex. He loves you and so do we.
