In Loving Memory of Andrew Gutierrez Organized by AJ
Donation protected
Hello Family and Friends:
My name is AJ. I was asked by the family to act as the family liaison in coordinating Andrew's funeral services. Andrew is my brother-in-law, and he will be missed by all who truly knew him.
I'm saddened to announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, father, friend and son of God, Andrew Gutierrez.
Andrew was an ambitious young man who had his whole life ahead of him. In the early hours of Thursday, Jan. 16th our lord and savior called up our beloved Andrew. He was 23 years of age.
Andrew was born on July 22, 2001. He was the third oldest of 5 siblings. Having two brothers and two sisters. Andrew became an uncle at the age of thirteen and was blessed with four nieces and one nephew; he secretly always kept an eye on.
Andrew was adventurous, curious, and a bit mischievous as a child. From a very young age, he lived how he wanted to live, and no one could tell him any different. This curiosity for life was carried into adulthood. Andrew had many passions; his love for baseball, dirt bike riding, but his most important passion was being a father.
Andrew had one beautiful child with Samantha Sander. He was a proud father to their daughter Averie. Andrew deeply cherished his role as a parent and fiancé. Sam and their daughter were not just the highlight of his life, but the very center of his universe. His love for them was evident in every moment they shared, from singing and cuddling, to watching her favorite baby shows and childhood movies. Samantha was his rock and anchor who held down their family when he would be away for work. Andrew loved Samantha and Averie with all his being.
Andrew had many lifelong friends who became family over the years. His friendships held an abundance of love, loyalty, and laughter. Many would describe Andrew as having “a sweet, caring soul.” Andrew was a compassionate friend, who was always there when his friends needed him.
Many knew Andrew as the person who was fun and charismatic. His enthusiasm for activities was contagious because of his immense presence and even bigger smile. Andrew's favorite sport throughout his life was baseball, from gathering friends to take batting practice to rooting for his favorite team, the New York Yankees.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Rosa and Andres Gutierrez; his siblings, Letty, David, Issac, and Priscilla; his fiancé Samantha, daughter Averie, and his four nieces and one nephew.
A Celebration of Life is currently being planned.
All are welcome to join our celebration.
