In Loving Memory of Armando "Pitt" Ochoa

Armando, raised in Woodland, CA, faced a challenging upbringing and navigated through some wrong choices that led him to prison. Yet, amidst the darkness, he found the strength to battle cancer during his time behind bars. Surviving this ordeal, he emerged with a newfound appreciation for life—a second chance that fueled his determination to create a better future.

Upon his release, Armando pursued a career as an electrician, and through hard work and dedication, he built a successful and fulfilling life. He was not just a survivor; he was a testament to the power of redemption and resilience.

Our story, Armando's and mine, is a tapestry woven with the threads of fate and love. We were neighbors, friends, and unknowingly soulmates during our middle school years. Years after his release from prison, our paths converged, and a beautiful love story began to unfold.

Armando was more than a partner; he was an exceptional father figure to my daughter, Gianna. Last week, on our favorite date, November 11 (11/11), he proposed, and we eagerly embarked on the journey toward building a family of our own. He had plans to adopt Gianna, sealing our commitment to each other and solidifying the bonds that held us together.

Tragically, Armando's life was cut short, and the dreams we held dear were extinguished in an instant. It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you, our extended family, friends, and community, seeking your support during this incredibly difficult time.
