In Loving Memory of Armando R. Cuevas
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My family and I are requesting assistance from anyone who can contribute towards my late father’s funeral services. My father, Armando Cuevas, was not only a beloved father, but a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, padrino, friend, and most importantly, a husband and grandfather. For those who knew him well, you would know my father had been a heavy smoker for several years, adding to his complicated history of Congestive Heart Failure.
Last month, I had decided to take my father to the emergency room since he was having difficulty breathing. My family and I did not foresee the outcome of that hospital event as some may know he had fought through similar visits, where he had a defibrillator in place. Unfortunately, on the morning of February 15th, my father’s battle with late-stage heart failure has come to an end. Although a hard reality, we knew this was my father’s wish where he just wanted to spend his last days with his family and pass peacefully. My father will leave behind his wife, 3 children, and 1 granddaughter, who will miss him dearly. Despite the news, my family and I have been grateful to pass the time with him for several more years after doctors and medical staff have told us countless times that he had been lucky to be alive after his second heart attack.
Despite not having much, my father always tried to provide and support the family in any way he could. He lived a humble life where his belief in a unified family was a core value he lived by. My family and I would love to offer him the proper services he deserves as he had always thought about his family’s needs before his. Therefore, we are asking for any support you can offer to help my family and I afford the services and ensure we continue his legacy.
Thank you all for the support in advance, the donations would mean a lot to us!
Rest in peace, Dad!
I’m sure my grandparents welcomed you with open arms, and you’ll all continue to watch over the family
