I still can’t believe with my mind or understand with my heart?? The sadness I feel?? Dad I’m so proud of u! U fought a long battle. But it was time for u to rest. Working ICU I can’t even keep count of how many times I sat with a person at the end of their life and prayed with them sang to them! I always ask them if they are good with God, and if not I ask if they want to receive the gift of eternal life with just one prayer? While my dad was still able to talk I had the hardest and saddest conversation with my own dad my dads answer to my question was “ I’m not scared to die because I’m a soldier” he said “ I’m a soldier for Christ and I know where I’m going! I’m going home!!”
My heart was proud of him!!! But at the same time it broke into a thousand pieces. I share this part of his life/death because this is his last testimony!! If you accept Jesus in your heart you not fear even death!! My family and I will miss my dad like crazy but we have peace in our hearts knowing that he made it! No more pain no more suffering just peace and love. I hope his testimony will help bring someone to Christ. I love u dad with all my heart ♥️ May you Rest In Peace
