In loving memory of Asalia
Asalia was a beautiful person inside and out and most of all, a wonderful mother who loved her daughter more than life. Asalia was called home to our Lord on 12/24/19 and will be dearly missed by all of us who were blessed to have her special presence in our lives. She loved her daughter Madilyn beyond measures and made her strong during her neonatal intensive care stay from day one until the very end when her tragic accident happened. Asalia spent every day and most nights at Madilyns bedside helping her daughter through three painful and extensive surgeries and just being present to comfort her and keep her in her arms. Asalia always was concerned with how her baby girl was doing and would cry when she couldn’t be there to comfort her. It was beautiful to watch her and Madilyn bond and grow together. Asalia spent 4.5 months in the NICU and made some beautiful bonds with the nurses and she loved how the nurses worked with and cared about the patients there and wanted to be a NICU nurse herself. She wanted to be able to touch peoples lives through nursing but little did she know how much she was already touching lives and transforming the nurses involved with Madilyns care, but most importantly how selfless her love for her daughter taught everyone around her how easy it was to adore her more.
