In Loving Memory of Aunty Tanya

The reason this page is created was to create a small giving link to honor my Aunty Tanya Vagai's memory. She was a loving, funny, caring & special person. She was taken from our family 11yrs ago (4/1/10) by the act of domestic violence. Since that day I was torn apart by so many negative emotions. Smiling on the outside but an emotional reck on the inside. Any mention of her name would bring back that day when she taken from us, at such a young age of 39 with 2 kids and grandson. I want to turn my negative energy into something positive. 

I want to encourage anyone who is able to do so to help me donate to the DVAC (Domestic violence action center) in her name. I want to honor my Aunty Tani by donating to this center to help other victims not have to through this alone. The center said they are low on funding due to Covid. The center only has 22 units to house victims and currently have a waitlist. I don't want anyone to have to be on a waitlist. I want everyone to be able to get the help/assistance they need to get out of the toxic situation they are in and rebuild themselves. 

I never want anyone to go through what our family had to deal with, I want to allow individuals the opportunity to know they aren't the problem. They can live to tell their story to help others overcome any obstacles they might face. Together we can help rebuild, empower and change this world! 

My wish for my birthday is to build an organization/foundation in my aunty's name (TANYA) to provide shelter, resources & sustainability to help other domestic violence victims (Physically or emotionally). I will be matching this amount up to $1,000 to give to the domestic violence action center (DVAC) in memory of my aunty.
