In Loving Memory of Azhar Anwar – Funeral Support Fund

My name is Shehroz Qamar, and I’m organizing this fundraiser along with my close friends and co-organizers: Muhammad Kaleem, Ahsan Raza, and Zeeshan Akbar.

We’re coming together to support the family of our dear friend, brother, and colleague Azhar Anwar, I’m raising funds on behalf of our beloved friend, colleague, and brother Azhar Anwar, who tragically passed away at the young age of 34 in Milton, Ontario.

Azhar’s sudden passing has left all of us in shock. The cause of death is currently unknown.

Azhar was not only a hardworking limo driver, but also someone who was always ready to help others in the community. Whether it was offering support, checking in on people, or quietly doing good behind the scenes, Azhar was known for his kindness, humility, and giving nature.

He leaves behind a grieving wife and four young children his eldest son is 13, and his youngest daughter is just 5 years old. The loss of a husband and father is heartbreaking beyond words, and his family is now facing both emotional and financial hardship.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses, and to support his wife / Parents with at least two months of mortgage payments, credit card bills, and daily family needs during this difficult time in Canada & Pakistan.

Although Azhar was from the Christian community, we, his Muslim friends and brothers, are coming together with full hearts to support the family he left behind. This is what humanity and brotherhood truly mean, standing by one another regardless of background, especially in moments of loss.

Your contribution, big or small, will help lift a heavy burden off this grieving family’s shoulders. Let’s come together for Azhar, as he always did for others.
