In Loving Memory of Beloved Kao Saelee

Before doing so, our family would like to thank you all so much! Mom and us siblings, as well as dad, appreciate all the love, support, contributions, and prayers! We will be laying our father to rest so he can officially be at peace with the Lord and Jesus Christ.

Hi friends and family, I am setting this GoFundMe with a heavy heart on behalf of our father, Kao Saelee. He passed away unexpectedly this morning, September 21st, 2023. Despite his flaws, Kao was a loving father, husband, grandpa, friend and everything in between. He is an inspiration to those who knew his hard upbringing in life. Kao leaves behind so many people who deeply love and care about him, his wife, children, grand babies, siblings, cousins and more.. Due to this sudden tragedy, us kids never expected, we ask for any contributions whether it's money, prayers, spending time together or words of support; we appreciate it all.

Kao was admitted to Mercy Medical hospital on Thursday the 14th when he had arrived to a doctors appointment extremely sick which led them to calling the ambulance. It was found that he had an infection in his blood and heart. At this time he was on antibiotics which seemed to be working and he was even predicted to be coming home Wednesday or today after receiving a PICC line. Kao was extremely energetic and happy Wednesday morning and I was so grateful to have spent the little time we had together. Later my sister received the unfortunate call that the infection had traveled to his brain causing him to have a stroke and an embolism in his brain and that we all needed to go see him. He was then admitted into an emergency surgery and the doctors did all they could, but unfortunately the damage was too severe. Us kids spent his very last second with him and never left his side. Unfortunately our siblings Kao, Lo, San, Meuy and Nai in Seattle couldn't make it here in time, thankfully we will grieve and be there for each other this weekend. Please pray for their safe travels down to California. Our dad peacefully left us to join his family and friends waiting for him in Heaven.
