In loving memory of Big Mike

This is a fundraiser to help pay for the final expenses for Michael Ballard (Big Mike). Michael spent many years battling depression that turned to alcoholism. While many years were rough, Michael never gave up the fight to try and fix himself for his family and children. Michael was working the program to regain control of his life when he suffered a heart attack while asleep and could not be resuscitated. Unfortunately, Michael lost his health insurance, life insurance and job when he went back to rehab, and we're asking for donations to help pay for Michael's funeral and burial costs. It is tough to ask for assistance with this, considering the shape the economy is in, but it is our last resort. We appreciate any help, and if you can't help monetarily, your thoughts and prayers will also help with the healing process. We know that Dave, Kristen, John and many others welcomed him with open arms and now his heart can be at peace. Tenatively, we are expecting the funeral services and burial to take place on Monday Sept. 26th and will post an update as to location and time of services.
