In Loving Memory of Brad Arnold:
A Husband, a Father, a Friend, and a Dedicated Surveyor
On September 23, we lost Brad Arnold. His untimely passing occurred due to a workplace accident during the works at the Cleveland-Redland Bay Road upgrade in Victoria Point, QLD. This tragic event serves as a potent reminder of the risks we face daily in the construction industry.

Who Was Brad?
Originally from South Africa, Brad made his home in Coffs Harbour and more recently found himself living in Southeast Queensland. More than just an exceptional Surveyor, he was a loving son, father, husband, brother , uncle and a friend to many. He leaves behind a community that admired him for his kindness, patience, and dedication.

The Surveyor We All Knew
Brad was a dedicated Engineering Surveyor specialising in bridge works, consistently pushing through whatever challenges were thrown his way. Over the years, he lent his skills to key projects like Woolgoolga to Ballina and Maroochydore to Mons Road, and most recently, Cleveland Redland Bay Road. Beyond his role, Brad was also a mentor, passing on knowledge and skills to others in the field. His impact is felt deeply across the industry, reminding us how crucial it is to honour his memory.

A Loving Father
While he worked tirelessly in his profession, his driving force was always his family, aiming to provide and care for them. Brad leaves behind a son and a daughter who are now facing the world without their father. His absence creates a void in many hearts that can never truly be filled.

A Man of Boundless Energy
Brad was a whirlwind of energy, he loved the outdoors, snowboarding, surfing, swimming, and fishing, and his zest for life was infectious. He recently took up gardening again and never missed a chance to bring home a doggy bag from dinners out for his four-legged friends.

The Importance of Your Contribution
Brad's untimely death is a stark reminder that even the most ordinary lives can be shattered in an instant. It's a wake-up call, especially for Brads colleagues in the construction industry that despite all safety precautions, things can still go horribly wrong.
Let's make sure that his family doesn't have to navigate this tragedy alone.
All funds raised will directly support Brad’s children in navigating a future without their dad. Please, open your hearts and wallets for a man who dedicated his life to his craft and his family. Any amount helps, and sharing this page will multiply the impact of your contribution.
