In Loving Memory of Brandon Ward – A Scholarship in his Honor

On February 3rd, the world lost a bright, loving, and passionate young soul, Brandon Ward, who tragically passed away at the age of 17 in a car accident. Brandon was known for his immense love for family, passion for hockey, and his kind, compassionate heart that touched the lives of everyone he encountered.

Throughout his life, Brandon lived by the values of hard work, loyalty, and love—values that he carried with him on and off the ice. Hockey was more than just a game for Brandon; it was a place where he could express his passion, teamwork, and perseverance.

While some teams posted win after win, it was evident from early in his career that Brandon’s victories were highlighted by the camaraderie of sharing the ice with his teammates and friends. But more than anything, he cherished his family, always putting others first and offering unwavering support and care.

In honor of Brandon’s legacy, his parents are establishing a scholarship to help young athletes continue their journey in hockey and education. This scholarship will be awarded annually to students who embody Brandon’s spirit, love of hockey, and commitment to family and community.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to establish this scholarship and ensure that Brandon’s memory continues to inspire future generations. Your generous contributions will not only help make this scholarship possible but will also keep Brandon’s light shining brightly in the lives of those who knew him, and those who will come to know him through this scholarship.

Thank you for your support, love, and kindness during this incredibly difficult time.

Brandon Ward - Born September 25, 2007 - went to be with his older brother, Bryce, on February 3, 2025.
