In Loving Memory of Brenda Jean Deiss

It is with very heavy hearts we share that my beloved mother Miss Brenda Deiss passed away on Monday February 14th, 2021 at the age of sixty.

Brenda was born September 9th, 1961 in Victoria, Texas and lived her entire life in the Lone Star State. Brenda’s creativity and willingness to share her life lessons will keep her forever engraved on the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Her career proudly included time spent as a secretary, including a stint at NASA, being a caregiver to loved ones in need and as an locally discovered actress in the recently released movie “Red Rocket” where she was able to draw her character from her sometimes difficult life and share her beautiful vocal talents by singing “Hallelujah Square.” She was a member of the Texas City Seventh Day Adventist Church. Brenda was a beautiful woman of little means but gave her unconditional love to those in her life.

Deiss is survived by her daughter, Destani Deiss, and her two best friends, “Mr. Johnny" Cortez and Karen Adams.
