In Loving Memory of Brenda Schultz

Hi, my name is Kaylin, and my best friend and family lost her mom early Monday morning September 11th. I am asking if anyone would be willing or able to donate to their family to help with cremation costs and family finances. Any and all donations would help tremendously.

Brenda Schultz, 57, of Mount Vernon, passed away peacefully in her home after a long illness on Monday, Sept.

11, 2023. A celebration of life will be held in the near future.

Brenda grew up in Mount Vernon and graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1984. She married Mark Schultz on April 11, 1998. Her children and grandson were her greatest pride and accomplishment. She loved doing crafts and buying flowers/plants. When her mother passed, she took over planning the family holidays, and never knew when to stop cooking and would invite anyone she thought would be alone for the holidays.

She had an amazing sense of humor and made sure everyone felt welcome in her home. She will be greatly missed.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Mark Schultz;

son, Tyler Bryant; daughters, Amberlyn and Annah Schultz; brothers-in-law, Jim and David Schultz; sisters, Anne Rick (Scott), Linnea Hite and Kathleen Willis (Jeff); sister-in-law, Chris Schultz; grandson Braydon, and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by two sons during pregnancy; mother, Shirley Kohl; and father- and mother-in-law, Harold and Doris Schultz
