In loving memory of Carly Flook
On the 26th December only 6 days after her 30th birthday our beautiful, brave, kind and inspirational girl was taken from us after her long hard battle with leukaemia. Carly had battled bravely and always tried to keep her family and friends strong at the hardest time of her life. When Carly was first diagnosed with leukemia 2 and a half years ago she immediately began many rounds of chemo but was told she needed a bone marrow transplant, unfortunately 6 months down the line the leukemia had returned. She was in need of further treatment which was to be a much greater risk but if she didn’t have it her leukemia would keep returning anyway. On the 9th November 2020 carly went into hospital for a second bone marrow transplant and caught an infection after which sadly meant she never made it home again. Though Carly was going through all of this the family and close friends always remained hopeful and had never prepared for this. The family are extremely close and carly was always the boss of the family and they can’t imagine how life will continue without her. Not long before she was diagnosed she and her partner had taken on full time custody of his niece who had become like her own daughter and she had even started to call her mumma.
Me and Will are doing this page to try and help the family as much as possible.
