In Loving Memory of Catherine Kuo

Catherine Kuo, mother of Thomas & Natalie, loving wife to William, dedicated community member, and school board trustee, was struck by a vehicle while volunteering at a food distribution event on campus. We are devastated to learn that Catherine succumbed to her injuries.
She was friendly, nurturing, and generous. We are lucky to have known her and will miss her so much.
Catherine was a great example of grace, kindness, and intelligence. She was grounded in her faith.
As noted in the DUSD communications, there is a gaping hole in our hearts with the loss of Catherine. Our schools, students, staff, and families are forever indebted to her as she sought to build bridges and worked hard to find common ground.
