Catherine M. Palmer, age 60, was a wonderful mother of three, Nonna to one, and friend of many, who was unfortunately taken from her loved ones far too soon. She is survived by her two children Jason and Lauren (Joseph), her grandson Theodore, and her partner, Rob. She was preceded in death by her mother Naomi, her sister Ann Marie, two brothers James and Robert, and her son Jeffery.
About Cathy
Catherine, or Cathy, was an extremely bright, positive, and beautiful woman. She was always compassionate, reaching out to those who needed help the most, and ensured that she did what she could to enrich the lives of those around her. She loved the beach and was an avid gardener.
Timeline
In Late February, 2021, it was discovered that Cathy had late-stage lung cancer in multiple parts of her body. Although she and her family worked diligently to get Cathy the best medical care that they could, complications arose and she wasn't able to begin her treatment before the cancer took hold. Within 50 days of diagnosis, Cathy had passed peacefully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by those who loved and cared for her both in person and virtually.
Expenses
We are all devastated by how quickly Cathy was taken from us, and were unprepared to take on the expenses associated with a burial service. We hope to bury her beside her mother, Nona, as she wished for many years. Any donations made to this gofundme will go directly to any funeral expenses the family may incur during the viewing, memorial, and burial services.
