In Loving Memory of Cedric Kelly

On Monday, March 6, 2023, Cedrick Darnell Kelly Jr., loving son, brother and uncle of 6 nieces and nephews , passed away at age 35 a week shy of his 36 birthday in his sleep.

Cedrick was born on March 14, 1987 in Biloxi, Mississippi to Cedrick and Tina Kelly. His family moves to Houston,Texas in 1992 and by 1997 he was a known athlete in the Sagemont area.

He attended Thompson intermediate school and Dobie high were he was on the choir, basketball team, cross country and track.

Cedrick had a passion for making people happy. He loved dancing and capoeira, He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Cedrick is survived by his mother Tina Kelly, his father Cedrick Kelly Sr., his sister Amber James and brother in law Donald James Jr., his brother William Scott IV , and several nieces, and a nephew Sebastian James, Zoe James, Alexandria James, William Scott, Brielle Scott.
