In Loving Memory of Charlena Burnett

On October 26th, 2023, our mother Charlena Burnett was tragically taken from us at the early age of 44 from domestic violence. She was the most amazing daughter, mother, sister, and the world's best "mimi" to her only grandson, Jaiden. She was one of the most selfless people and although she never had much, she would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need, even strangers. Our mother was beautiful, inside and out, we could go to her with anything and she would never judge just offer her love, guidance, and support. She touched so many people throughout her life and was loved by many. Although she faced many challenges in life, she always managed to keep a smile on her face and had an uplifting spirit. A year ago, she lost her daughter and then a month later lost her mother, both unexpectedly. Now she is no longer in pain from losing them and they are finally reunited. The pain of losing one person is unbearable enough, let alone losing three of the most important people in your life within a year is beyond devastating. We are asking for her friends and family to come together to assist us financially to lay our mother to rest the way she deserves.
