In Loving Memory of Charles Peter
Donation protected
The family of Charles Peter Kennedy has been flooded with requests for charitable donations in memory of their shining son, Peter. In their discussions of what would have meant the most to Peter, they thought about how Peter used his soul to cultivate change while he was here.
Peter was passionate about family, about his family of blood, and his family of friends. There was never any doubt that Peter would show up to celebrate, show up to help, he always showed up with a bright beaming smile and his forever mellow temperament. In this vein, his family and close friends have decided that donations in the memory of Charles Peter Kennedy will be made to his cousin, Charles Bumgardner's ongoing fight against metastatic melanoma.
Many of you heard his cousin speak at Peters Celebration of Life. a big, burly man, he spoke eloquently and passionately about his cousin, Pete. He spoke about how when Charlie moved up to Saratoga Peter welcomed him with open arms; he spoke about how Peter always welcomed everyone with open arms.
Peters concern for the struggle of his cousin was true and genuine. The financial strain of being out of work for endless surgeries and treatments, the physical strain of side effects and recovery, the mental strain of facing this disease with a young family. Peter would have done anything to help alleviate the burden on his cous.
Keep the smile alive.
Don't cry because it's over....smile because it happened...
