In Loving Memory of Chris Landrigan
Donation protected
The Landrigan family, Joe and Jesse, are met with some challenging times, moving forward with funeral costs and without the benefit of insurance with still a number of years on Joey and Chris's home mortgage, etc... Any help you can share during these trying times, would do so much good for this family and relieve some of the great strain in Chris's sudden passing.
Chris was employed at the (WMS) Winthrop Middle School where she enjoyed many years, as a Special Needs, Teacher’s Aide devoted to her work with her students. She loved and cared for these special students and they surely loved and respected her. Some fondly called her, “ Mrs. L ”.
Chris grew up in Saugus, MA, living on Bristow Street and graduating Saugus High in 1973. And for just a moment I'd like to be a bit lighthearted in telling of Chris's identity as the Disco Queen during the 1970's and 80's and if she wanted to I'm sure she could have gotten a part in the movie "Saturday Night Fever". I'm sure Chris is looking upon this with a great big smile and that's the way I want to remember her, with a great big smile.
But on a more serious note, I was with Chris back, in what I believe was 1983, when her diabetes first struck in PEI, Canada. The doctors said she was only a mere couple of hours from death, if we hadn't gotten her to the hospital when we did... much to the credit of her dear friend and sister-in-law, Jayne Landrigan.
So, I look at it as though we all got to love, enjoy and benefit from Chris's life for another 35 years that may have never been, so rejoice and celebrate the wonderful life of Chris Landrigan.
