In loving memory of Chris McCarthy

DCS Scaffolding has opened up this fundraiser alongside family and friends; in honor of our beloved employee Chris McCarthy.

His wife Shaunnie and friends have given us a massive insight into Chris’ life and have provided us with some kind words below;

Chris was a big part of the team at DCS Scaffolding and he will be hugely missed.

“Sadly, just over a week ago, our much beloved Chris tragically passed away. Chris’ death was unexpected, and many lives have been changed forever.

Of all Chris’ accomplishments, his greatest by far was becoming a Daddy. A beloved Daddy who doted on loved his beautiful children so much. A Daddy that not only devoted his life to his two youngest but also raised his stepson as his own with the same love and guidance. This has left a massive void in their young lives; their Daddy was taken too soon and will be missed beyond measure.

For those that knew Chris, they’ll undoubtedly agree that Chris was a huge-hearted man, a kind soul who had the ability to make anyone laugh. He was a hard-working family man who adored his family unit, especially his wife and children. His deep-rooted family values came from being raised by his late mum Norah who he missed so much. His Dad and sisters were his heroes, but he was theirs and along with all his extended family and friends, we miss him so much.

We want TJ, MaryJayne and Kyron-James to know their daddy loved them to pieces and forever will. To honor his love for them, any donations are greatly appreciated and are made in his memory to support his children as they adjust to life without their amazing Dad.

Burnage will never be the same again, Chris, we’ve lost a true legend, and the pain is indescribable.
