On November 2 we suddenly lost Chris O'Malley. A man who was so many things to so many people. A devoted husband, amazing father, loving son, caring brother and kind-hearted friend.
This unexpected loss at such a young age has come as a massive shock to his family. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to raise funds to support Lisa, Harrison and Hudson as they attempt to pick up the pieces and move on with their lives as best they can. 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be passed directly to Lisa.
Update 1: Thanks wonderful people for showing such generosity! We have updated the goal to $15,000 to see if we can help a little more. Please continue to share the link to this page with anyone who's lives have been touched by Chris and his family.
Update 2 (This update is to satisfy GoFundMe internal audit procedures and allow Lisa to actually withdraw the funds raised): Please note this fundraiser has been set up by a small group of Chris's friends to raise money for his wife LISA O'MALLEY and his children. Lisa may spend any funds raised as she sees fit in supporting her family. Lisa will be set up as the sole beneficiary of this fundraiser and no 3rd parties will withdraw funds or handle money on her behalf.
Update 3: We have been blown away by the response to this. We have raised the target for a final time to $20,000. If we can reach this, that would be an absolutely amazing amount to give to Lisa and the family. Thanks so much for your support!
