In Loving Memory of Christine Hansbrough

Hi, my name is Stephanie, the daughter of Christine Hansbrough, and with a heavy broken heart I wanted to share the news of losing my mother on December 8th, 2023. Christine left this world too soon and we are still processing the loss of such an important person and learning to navigate through this rough chapter.

To anyone who had the privilege of knowing and sharing space with this woman, knows how much of an impact she would make daily to make your day or make the world a better place. She had a heart of gold and truly cared about helping people.

My mom grew up in Los Angeles, in the City Terrace and Boyle Heights area. She was the oldest to her brother Ernie and 2 sisters, Carol and Ann Margret. She had 4 kids Martin+, Eric, Adam and me.

My mom endured the pain of losing both her parents, son and her first husband, the father of her children during her lifetime. It brings me some comfort knowing she’s now surrounded by so many loved ones .

She worked 25+ years for Goodwill Industries, different titles but found her passion in the social work field, of being a Job Developer. Many years and helped many lives. We can’t wait to hear more stories from her work journey.

We do understand the holiday season is upon us and bad news never has good timing.

On behalf of our family, we are asking for your love and support during this difficult time. As you can imagine, we were not prepared for this sudden heartbreaking occurrence. We want to celebrate my moms life in the way she deserves to be celebrated, and with your help we can make that happen. All funds will be used to put my mom to rest peacefully.

My mom leaves behind her Spouse, Derek and fur baby (meow meow) , along with her siblings, children, granddaughter Kathy, and grandbabies on the way <3

Thank you all so much for being a part of my moms life. Please continue to pray for my mom and our family. She is no longer suffering, and is now at peace.
