In loving memory of Christopher Matias

My name is Dalianna and I’m making this gofundme page in honor of Christopher Matias and to help my sister, Charlene Tambua. It is with great sadness and disbelief to have to be writing something like this. But my sister has unexpectedly lost her best friend and the love of her life, Christopher Matias. We are all having a hard time grieving and processing during this time. Unfortunately, he unexpectedly passed while in Kona, Big Island. While we are all still trying to figure out what happened, we are uncomfortable with the fact that he passed on another island away from his friends and family. Chris was a true character who was very humble, funny, spontaneous, passionate, grounded, hardworking and always stayed true to himself. He was the kind of guy that always found a way to look at the bright side of things, always looking for ways to improve himself, grateful for everything about life itself, and the life of the party. He was the greatest father, son, brother, friend, and other half we could all ask for. He has two kids with my sister, ages four and five, with one more on the way. It’s very difficult trying to explain something like this to the kids that their dad is resting peacefully in heaven. Since he was the only one working to help support his family while my sister was a stay at home mom, I kindly ask if you could help donate what you can to cover the expenses for his funeral and necessities my sister needs for the kids and their bills in the future. Anything to help to get her back on her feet. We appreciate everyone trying to help and giving their regards. Even though Chris is gone, he would want us to continue living life to the fullest with no regrets. He will forever be in our hearts watching over us and protecting us. RIL Christopher Robin Matias ❤️
