In Loving Memory of Colin Hooley

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share tragic news that our Colin Hooley was taken from us after just 36 years. Colin is survived by his Loving Wife Sybille Hooley and his daughter Hazel-Grace (3) who just celebrated her 3rd birthday. He leaves behind many family members who loved him dearly and their world has been turned upside down. Colin was the most genuine man, father, friend, brother, son, teammate who made this world a better place and he will be missed dearly.

Colin was one of my first friends I met through playing softball and quickly became one of my best friends. Colin fed off other people’s smiles and he would go out of his way to make everyone around laugh, often choosing himself as the target of a joke.

I’ll never forget how happy he was to share the news with me that he and Sybille were expecting their daughter, miss Hazel-Grace. I shared with him that I too was welcome my first born Charlie and we were so excited to share this journey together. Hazel-Grace was Colin’s world and he was certainly hers as well, my heart hurts for the pain she is going through without her loving Dada.
