In Loving Memory of Courtney Roache

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Courtney Gladstone Roache. He passed away peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2023 (age 52), surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his loving daughter Jada and son Carter, his parents Gladstone and Doreth, siblings Terry (Tara) and Christine (Kirk) and nephew and nieces Tristan, Ellie and Aliyah. He also leaves behind his loving girlfriend Lav, extended family and friends.

Everyone who knew Courtney knew his love for hockey and how he was die-hard Detroit Redwings (Yzerman 19) fan. When he wasn't playing hockey, he was at the basketball court. Courtney loved to cycle and taekwon-do, winning several tournaments. Courtney was a hardworking and courageous man. When he was not working or playing sports, he spent time at the cottage with his closest friends. His love for the outdoors and music were only surpassed by the love he had for his family and friends. He will be remembered for his gentle, kind and giving nature and will live in our hearts forever.

Family and friends who would love to help support his parents during this difficult time, can do so by helping to cover a portion of the funeral expenses. Post covering of the expenses, any remaining amount would be donated to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in memory of Courtney Gladstone Roache.
