Hi, my name is Ian and in October of 2024 I lost my mother to cancer. Her passing has left myself, my brother Aaron, and the rest of our friends and family devastated. There is a great deal of pain and grief and we miss her everyday. There have been so many kind words and condolences offered by our friends and family, and many people have inquired about sending financial help so we decided to start this fundraiser to make it easy for anyone who would like to donate in this trying time. The money raised from this GoFundMe will be used to:
- Pay for funeral expenses, cremation and related fees
- Plan and pay for a memorial service for Cyndi
- Pay for travel and lodging to enact her last wishes for her ashes to be spread on Hornby Island
- Give Ian and Aaron financial support during these difficult times and to compensate for lost wages and time off taken to tend to Cyndi's last affairs
We so deeply appreciate all the love and support that has been offered since we lost Cyndi and we thank everyone who has reached out to share kind words, prayers, thoughts or stories. We love and miss her everyday.
