In Loving Memory Of Damon Severson

It saddens me to announce that my dad, Damon has passed away. He passed away at home in Chaska on October 7th 2024. Damon was born on June 22nd 1978 in Illinois. He was a dad, uncle, brother, son, grandpa and a friend. He Is survived by his fiancé Christina, dad Mark, sister Sarah, three brothers Ryan, Jared, Chase , his four children Paige, Gage, Savannah, Ely, and two grand babies. He was just 46 years old when he passed.

One thing our dad engrained into us was that family always came first. Family is the only thing you have at the beginning of each day, and at the end of each night. Our dad was such a fun dad to be around and grow up with. He loved hard. Growing up he always had crazy stories to tell us when he was a wild teenager. Even at 46 years old he still showed some of that wildness he had when he was younger. One thing about him was he didn't let his age catch up to him. We are making this GofundMe to help cover cremation costs, as that was what he wanted for when the day came. We are extremely at loss for words, we never expected this day to come as he was so strong and always came back to us. He is at rest and no longer struggling. Please if it's anything that you take away from reading this is to check on your family, friends and loved ones that are struggling whether it is addiction, or mental health. Please don't let things go un said. Always be there for them. Words can mean so much to a person along with memories. We never know whens the last time we get to say I love you to each other and that was one of the things he made so important in our family , at the end of each phone call you always say I love you.
