IN LOVING MEMORY OF DAVID KNOX
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts. Our family has recently endured an unimaginable tragedy. On July 3, our parents were involved in a tragic car accident.
Midge and Dave were traveling out of state to surprise one of their daughters who lives in Idaho for the 4th of July (they had a whole fun road trip planned!). Halfway to Idaho, a semi truck/tractor trailer in the opposing lane lost control causing the trailer to jackknife into our parents' vehicle.
Based on the information we have received, our dad was able to turn the vehicle just enough so that the majority of the impact was placed on himself. This selfless act resulted in him saving our moms life and sacrificing his own. Our mom was able to extraicate herself from their vehicle with moderate injuries, while our Dad tragically succcumbed multiple catastrophic injuries. The collision was completely unavoidable.
Our dad died a hero, saving the love of his life, our mom!
With our dad providing the main source of income, this puts our mom in a difficult financial situation while struggling physically, emotionally and mentally. We have created this GoFundMe to rally around our mom and offer our support and to help ensure a stable future.
Here’s how you can help make a difference:
1. Donate: Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant impact. Your thoughtful donation will help cover essential expenses such as medical bills, rent, utility bills, etc. Any amount you can give will be deeply appreciated.
2. Spread the Word: Share this campaign with your friends, family, and social media networks. By spreading awareness about our tragic loss, we can reach a wider audience and garner the support needed to make a substantial difference.
