In Loving Memory of Deborah J. Farris
Donation protected
Deborah J. Farris, Debby, was the loving wife, mother, and grandmother to Mark Farris (husband), Mara Farris Babb (daughter), and Colton Babb (grandson), yet her love did not stop there. Her heart was so big and full of love to give that she became Momma Bear to many. 2021 started off bright, but soon became dim.
On January 15, 2021, Debby went in for a normal doctors appointment for symptoms of shortness of breath, fatigue, and loss of apatite and was sent to have a chest x-ray and soon after a CT Scan. The scan quickly produce an image of a large mass in her right lung.
On January 18, 2021, after a telehealth consult with an outpatient Pulmonologist; she, along with Mark and Mara decided to go the hospital. She was soon admitted for pneumonia.
On January 20, 2021, Debby went under for a biopsy of the mass found during her CT scan on January 15th.
On January 22, 2021, Debby, Mark and Mara soon were informed she had a very advanced (stage IVB) lung cancer, known as Adenocarcinoma.
After several trips and taking turns visiting, Mark and Mara were finally able to join Debby and be reunited as a family, the morning of January 24, 2021. It was then Debby made the decision to be DNR comfort care. Embraced in love, with Mark on her left and Mara on her right; a prayer was said and she lost her fight at 12:45pm.
Due to COVID-19, like most, Mark lost his job and with it their Life Insurance Policy. With the ever growing funeral costs, memorial costs and medical bills, your love and support during this time of need would be a great blessing. No donation is too small and will not go unnoticed.
With all our hearts the Farris Family Thanks you!
