In Loving Memory of Dima Buzdugan.

Dear friends, with deep regret we want to inform you of the tragic loss of Dumitru Buzdugan. On Saturday, July 8th during a kayak sports competition in Welland, Dimitru (Dima) got a heart attack and was taken to Hospital in Welland. After 2 days of struggle Dima passed away on Monday, July 10th leaving behind his wife Anna Buzdugan, son Ivan and daughter Ana.

Anybody who has ever met Dima knows him as a loving husband and father. A great friend who would always lend a hand. Dima was happiest when spending time with his family or when outdoors. He loved fishing and kayaking.

In this extremely difficult time, we are hoping to lighten the financial burden of the unexpected funeral costs on Dima's family. If you wish to do something to help the Buzdugan family, in lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider donating here.

My name is Alexander Buhov. I am from King City, Ontario. Dima was my good friend and kayak partner. I started this campaign because I know that Dima’s family could use the help with unexpected funeral expenses. All funds will be released to Dima's wife, Anna Buzdugan.

Dima will remain in our memory as a kind, caring and loving man. Dima was a member of Richmond Hill Canoe Club and Mississauga Canoe Club.
