In Loving Memory of Don Pierce
Donation protected
We are heartbroken to share that our beloved Don Pierce, “Pop”, passed away peacefully at home in Friendsville, surrounded by his family and his loyal dog, Theo. After a long and heroic battle stemming from exposure to heavy metals during his career as a Civil Engineer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Don’s heart finally gave out, bringing his adventurous journey to an end.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for your support to help with the end-of-life expenses and to honor Don’s legacy. These funds will be used for:
• Burial expenses and medical costs
• A celebration of life to remember and cherish Don’s impact
• Supporting his beloved wife, Deborah (“Debbie”), as she navigates the challenging transition to life without him
Don was a man of many talents and passions—an avid fisherman, skilled hunter, adventurous chef, and storyteller who never met a stranger. His love of life, laughter, and connection left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. He was the rock of our family and the love of Debbie’s life. As she adjusts to this profound loss, we want to ensure she has the resources she needs to begin this new chapter without financial strain.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to cover these expenses and ease the burden on Debbie during this difficult time.
We know Don touched the lives of so many people with his warmth, humor, and kindness. Whether you knew him as a family member, friend, colleague, or neighbor, we invite you to join us in celebrating his life and supporting his family. Any contribution, no matter how small, will mean the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this challenging time. Your support will not only help honor Don’s memory but also provide comfort and stability for Debbie as she moves forward.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Pierce & Bladow Family
