In Loving Memory of Donna Lopez

With heavy hearts, we share the loss of our beloved Donna Lopez— a devoted mother, lifelong educator, and the heart of our family. After nearly 25 years of shaping young minds as a dedicated teacher, Donna passed away leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and quiet strength that touched everyone she met.

She was someone who always put others first — especially my sister & I. Her love, guidance, and warmth will be missed more than words can say.

We’ve created this fundraiser to support our family during this incredibly difficult time, and to honor her memory in a meaningful and lasting way.

As per our mom's wishes, there will not be a funeral or memorial service. In lieu of a funeral or memorial, part of the funds will go toward placing a memorial bench in Ewen Park— a place she walked & smiled often, and shared moments with those she loved. This bench will sit beside the one dedicated to her own mother (GG), creating a quiet, peaceful space where family, friends, and neighbors can come to reflect and remember two incredible women.
