In Loving Memory of Dora Zgherea: Funeral Fund

On October 4, 2024, our dear and beloved mother, Dora Zgherea, peacefully joined her husband in heaven, 23 years after his death. It was exactly one year after her first hospitalization, after which she was diagnosed with a very aggressive lung cancer. She firmly believed that she would be cured, but God had other plans for her. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, declares the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Mom was an incredibly special woman. With an open heart and endless generosity, she dedicated her life to raising 10 beautiful children. Her strength, hard work, sacrifice, love, and care for others extended not only to her own family, but to many friends around the world.

Mom was a wonderful, caring grandmother to her grandchildren. She taught them to love Jesus and to be diligent and careful in all things. A couple of days before she passed away, she welcomed her 31st grandchild.

While we miss her dearly, we find comfort in knowing she is in a better place, free from pain, and together with Jesus and all the saints.
