In loving memory of Dr Muhammed Akunjee (rah)

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of a very dear beloved friend, mentor and inspirational community figure.

 

Dr Muhammed Akunjee was known to be a very kind and generous man who worked tirelessly for his patients, his family, his community and the wider world (rahimahullah - May God have mercy on his soul). Those around him will testify if ever they felt challenged or needed help, Dr Muhammed would not hesitate to come to the rescue! We pray God showers him with his mercy and grants him the best of abodes. We ask you all to remember him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

 

Such is the testimony to Dr Muhammed's selfless dedication to others that he recently founded and registered a charity called Experience Giving. Despite it being a fledgling charity Experience Giving has thus far given relief to disaster-stricken communities around the world with food projects and medical support at a 100% donation policy approach, with no administration fees taken by the charity. This was part of Dr Muhammed's vision for the charity.
