Dr. Stanley El, D.Div: “To Be The Best Possible Example.”

Dr. Stanley El wasn't just great; he was “EXTRAORDINARY!” A pillar of the Woodbury community, his life wasn't measured in years, but in the countless lives he touched. Stan, as his friends knew him, wasn't content with simply existing; his focus was on uplifting mankind, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met.

From the halls of multiple Boys and Girls Clubs to the Woodbury Child Development Center, Dr. El poured his heart into serving others. A Doctor of Divinity, a maven in business development and marketing, a servant leader and the consummate entrepreneur, Dr. El was many things but, not least of all, a husband and father. And it is by that example that he inspired so many young people around the world.

As his daughters got older, Dr. El became a father figure to nearly every youth who crossed his path. His mentorship to so many people around the world was what we all were so grateful for. His profound dedication to being the best possible example for young people is unparalleled. He would always say, we want our youth to do better, but who is the example? Without judging us, by making this statement, he would challenge us to be that example of good for our youth to follow. Those who knew him will forever be impacted and grateful by how willingly and selflessly he gave of his time, attention, money, love, light, resources and anything he had to us. With almost every breath, he reminded us how great God is and how “when you serve the light, the light turns and serves you.” He was the greatest example of that; a beacon of God’s light!

By implementing all we’ve learned from him, everyone under his tutelage has experienced great levels of growth and success in their own personal lives and their businesses. That’s because Stan saw potential where others saw doubt, offering his knowledge, resources, and even his own self-published books, all freely, generously, and without measure. Countless businesses may not exist without his guidance, many of our dreams may not have have taken flight without his incredible and patient support.

Even battling cancer, Dr. El never faltered or strayed from his mission. He continued to serve and empower others, holding webinars, seminars and countless 1-on-1 business meetings until his very last day. Service to God was his purpose, and serving others his vehicle. Never have we known such selfless dedication, such boundless love—none like that of the great Dr. Stanley El.

It’s not enough to say his absence leaves a void, a quiet ache in the community he so cherished. Life for everyone who knew him will never the same. But Dr. El wouldn't want us to mourn; he'd want us to carry his torch, to “uplift humanity” as he uplifted. That's why we've created this GoFundMe page. In his spirit, we aim to support his family and ensure his legacy lives on. Every contribution will go directly to his family, allowing them to continue his mission and to keep his light shining bright.

In his memory, let us all “strive for Greatness in every thing we think, say and do” and be the change he inspired. Let us not just remember Dr. Stanley El; let us emulate him, celebrate him, and keep his legacy of service alive in our hearts and actions.

“‘I AM’ the strength, the courage, the power to move forth steadily through all experiences whatever they may be and to remain joyous and uplifted, filled with peace and harmony at all times by the glorious presence which ‘I AM!’”

– Dr. Stanley El, D.Div.
