Dr Yen-yung Yap, a loving husband to Ms Mei-Khing Loo, wonderful father to Joyce, Michelle and Edwin, dedicated obstetrician, fertility specialist and gynaecologist.
The tragic news of Dr. Yap's passing came as a shock and greatly impacted everybody that knew and loved him, including family, friends and the many patients who felt lucky to have such a dedicated doctor help deliver their babies through the years.
As a friend and medical colleague, he has always been a friendly and approachable man.He is often seen wearing a smile, sharing his joys in life with others and frequently invited others to share in the warmth of his home.
Sadly, Dr Yap passed away a week ago, and this time of mourning has been especially hard on his wife, and his three young school aged children. We started this gofundme page to pay tribute to Dr Yap, and for friends, patients and supporters to send their condolences and support to the family.
