In loving memory of Duncan Shearwood

On January 15, 2023, my beloved brother-in-law Duncan Shearwood, was taken away from us after he suffered a cardiac arrest. The sudden and shocking loss of Duncan has left us with indescribable pain and completely broken-hearted.
Duncan was smart, funny and had a heart of gold, and he often lightened up the room effortlessly with his quick wit and sense of humour. He loved adventures and travels and has always found joy in being outdoors, playing cricket, football, golfing, and fishing.
Duncan and my sister-in-law Lauren were a match made in heaven, and they shared a special love and connection that most of us can only dream of. As a proud father of Cameron, Noah, and Rosie, Duncan prioritized his family above all else. I can still remember the happiness they brought to one another and the infectious laughter that filled every room. They were dreaming and planning a lifetime together, and the tragic loss of a soulmate and a loving father forever changed their worlds.
The journey to grief and healing for Lauren's family will be difficult, but I know their resilience and bravery will lead the way. I hope that I can help raise funds that will provide some support for the challenging road ahead as the family adjusts to life without Duncan.
The funeral will be held on Monday, February 13, at 10 am at the Cambridge Crematorium, West Chapel. Please join our family to come together, commemorate Duncan's life, and offer our love and support to Lauren and the children.
