In Loving Memory of Dwayne A. Harrison
Donation protected
On Saturday, January 30th, Dwayne Anthony Harrison was struck by a drunk driver in the middle of the afternoon. He passed away at the young age of 31, leaving behind his pregnant wife Mariah, his two young children Kaiden and Maleiya, and their unborn baby due in July.
Dwayne was an incredibly loving family man. He was a dreamer who always had the biggest grin on his face, with a passion for life. Anyone who knew him knew that he always put his children and family first. Dwayne and Mariah were best friends for ten years, and were married just shy of 4 years. His Facebook feed is full of loving messages to Mariah, as well as sharing countless photos and moments he enjoyed with his two beautiful children, Kaiden and Maleiya. Dwayne was one of those people who was born to be a father. He was so incredibly excited to be welcoming their third child due this July, and was preparing to officially announce the pregnancy soon.
To his friends and family, Dwayne was such a light to this world. He was a such a goofball who always cracked jokes and lifted spirits. He also enjoyed playing video games and rough-housing with their dogs. Even after many challenges, Dwayne never gave up. He enrolled in college and proudly graduated in 2019. Dwayne was such an intelligent, compassionate, and humorous person that will always be loved and missed.
The burden of finances will be great and to think of “do we have enough money?” when mourning the loss of a loved one is so hard to imagine. We, people who love both Dwayne and Mariah, would like to set up this fundraiser to help Mariah not worry about one more detail during this overbearingly stressful time.
Please support Dwayne’s family with whatever monetary donation you can give. If you are unable to donate, that is okay! Please share this page to all your family and friends in hopes that it reaches far places. All proceeds will go to his widow, Mariah Harrison, to pay for funeral expenses and help out with other financial burdens during this time. Any donation amount will make a difference and help to deal with not only expensive funeral costs, but caring for 2 young children with special needs and another baby on the way as a widowed parent. Let’s take some of the burden off with anything we can spare. We would like to reach our goal or even exceed it within a month or two. Let’s all prove the power of community.
In times of darkness, love and compassion heals. We will forever be grateful for your support!
