In Loving Memory of Dylan Adams

Hi, my name is Summer Nettles and I am fundraising for the family of Dylan Adams.

My dear friend Ivanna, Dylan's mom, reached out on April 4 and shared that the police came to her door and delivered a devastating blow, her son Dylan's life had been taken by a bullet.

He had just celebrated his 23rd birthday.

Having met this sweet, helpful, dutiful son my heart broke for my dear friend, her family and all the friends who are in so much pain due to the loss of this bright light.

Dylan, pictured here on the far right, holding the family doggo, loved and cared for his brothers and sister, was a great student and an amazing friend. He was the kind of person people could tell stories to and he'd listen with quiet strength.

Sadly, his memorial services have been delayed as the police investigate how this innocent and unarmed, young, Black man had his life ripped away.

As anyone who's ever experienced death can tell you, we are never prepared to get up and keep going while nursing the open wounds of grief a sudden loss causes.

It is with that understanding that I ask for your support in helping this beautiful family move through this time.
