In Loving Memory of Dylan Opsahl
Donation protected
It is with unimaginable sadness that we share the passing of Dylan Opsahl, a beloved son, brother, father and friend. Dylan’s passing was confirmed was on April 12th after he had been missing without a trace since late February. As you can imagine, the family is still coming to terms with the shock of his unexpected passing.
Dylan had a heart full of passion—for cooking, fishing, and especially for his role as a father. He never went anywhere without his fishing gear and would cast a line every chance he got. He found real joy in the simple things, and fishing was his peace.
He was also incredibly proud of his work as a machinist. He’d light up talking about the parts he made and the craft he loved. But above all, Dylan’s greatest pride and joy was his son, Oliver. Being a dad meant everything to him, and he poured his heart into raising Oliver with love and laughter.
We are raising funds to help cover the funeral and memorial expenses, so we can honor Dylan’s life in the way he deserves. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and is deeply appreciated by the family as they carry the weight of this grief especially for his young son Oliver.
If you’re not able to give, sharing this fundraiser also helps more than you know. The family thanks for your love, kindness, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
