Tragedy struck Utah, Tamu Smith, and her family. Tamu’s mother Edna died due to the winter storms and temperatures in Utah. Edna was unhoused. I’ve created this gofundme to raise money for the Smith family to turn the loss of their mother’s life into saving the lives of others. How? Through their charitable works, the family will provide love and human connection as well as gloves, hats, shoes, wool socks, scarves, and other basic needs for thousands that we recognize as “homeless.”
Edna was loved. She was strong and beautiful. She was a mother and a friend. I can’t imagine losing my mother this way, can you? Edna is someone who we will never forget and will be honored through our service to others.
