In Loving Memory of Elsie Dimalanta

Hi, my name is Brielle Dimalanta. It is with deep sadness and a broken heart that I announce the passing of the most important person in my life…my one and only mom, Elsie. Words can’t express the level of pain I feel from losing her. She was the best mother that anyone could ever ask for & we miss her so much.

On behalf of my sister and brother and I, we extend a big thank you to all our family and friends, near and far, for all of the love & kindness you’ve shown to my mom when she was alive. Some of you have known her from way back, early childhood days, to high school, to when she first met my dad, to Navy life in Hawaii, in California, and in Washington.

At any point of her life when you knew her, I hope you’ll always remember Elsie for her beautiful smile, her kind soul, her giving heart, her passion for fashion, her creativity, and her genuine love for others, most especially her family. Hold on to the good memories you have with her…every laugh, every warm embrace, and every conversation you shared with her, most likely while eating some good food together.

So many of you have asked us if there’s anything you could do to help and we wanted to create this gofundme page to help raise funds to cover the cost of funeral expenses, flower arrangements, medical bills, and my mom’s celebration of life… Any amount, big or small would be greatly appreciated and will be used to honor her for the wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend that she was to us.

Yesterday was my mom’s birthday (Dec 2nd) and today is my birthday (Dec 3rd). It pains me that we can’t celebrate together like we do every year. I just know she’ll always be there to celebrate with me in spirit. My only birthday wish is for my mom to have the greatest time in heaven & for her funeral to be encompassed with peace, lots of love, and all her favorite flowers… She loves red roses, white roses, pink lillies, plumerias, gardenias, carnations, dahlias, hibiscus, orchids, and so many others…
