In Loving Memory of Erik Eggers

We are raising funds for our dear friend, Laura Dronen, in the wake of her beloved husband Erik Egger's sudden passing. To know Erik and Laura is to love them. With this sudden death, there will be funeral and other expenses, as well as the ongoing cost of daily life to bear. We want to support Laura in this journey financially, emotionally, and otherwise. Sharing Laura's own words:

I have never been more completely and totally broken than I am today. Yesterday, my spouse, my soulmate, my best friend, my everything, Erik Eggers took his own life. He was my world, he was my everything, he was my universe. The amount of time it would take to explain our inside jokes would be an eternity.

For as long as I’ve known him Erik has dealt with suicidal ideations – as have I, as have many of our dear friends. I did not expect this to happen though. I kissed him goodbye this morning, and we said see you later.

Erik certainly didn’t know how much he was adored by so many people. He’d go to a party and have a deep, long conversation with one person.

He was my soulmate, he was the love of my life. I have so much more to to say, but am at a complete loss at this moment.
