In Loving Memory of Erik Lund

On October 16, Jeff and Liz experienced a tragedy that no parents ever should; the unexpected loss of their newborn son. Erik was born with a rare genetic disorder called Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia that prevented his lungs from functioning normally. Erik fought for over a week before he passed away peacefully in his mother’s arms at 9 days old. His final moments were spent outside, where he could feel the sun on his skin and breathe in the fresh air.

In addition to his parents, Erik is survived by his brother, Johan (21 months). Please consider helping this family as they navigate the difficult terrain ahead. Proceeds will go toward Erik’s funeral costs, medical bills and assistance for the family.
