Samuel (Sammy) Cordova was unexpectedly taken from us on August 12, 2024. Sammy, among many things, was a husband, a son, a grandson, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a nephew, a co-worker, an avid CrossFitter, a kickballer, a flag footballer, and everyone’s most loyal and outgoing friend. Sammy shared a sincere kindness with every person he came in contact with. He brought a beaming smile and positive energy so contagious that he could light up even the darkest of rooms. Because of these qualities he possessed and his presence alone, most would agree that Sammy had more friends than any of us could ever imagine being blessed with. Above all, Sammy loved everyone unconditionally. In return, Sammy was unconditionally loved by many family members and numerous amounts of friends.

A lot of times when tragic, sudden events occur it is in our human nature to want to help, but we often feel helpless and don’t know how to turn our desire to help into action. With Sammy’s family’s blessing and permission, this account has been set up for those near and far who loved Sammy to turn that helplessness feeling into a generous, loving gesture. Your donation will help to support his family with the burden of unforeseen expenses that will quickly accumulate or for use of the funds however they see is best fit to carry on Sammy’s Legacy. No donation is too big or too small, everyone has different financial situations, we just ask that you only contribute what you can afford. Additionally, the monetary “goal” set was a requirement of the GoFundMe website as the loss of our Sammy doesn’t have a price tag.

Sammy’s family thanks you for your kindness and generosity. We can find comfort in knowing that Sammy is at peace and in his happy place being with his person who will forever have his heart, Alan. We all look forward to the day that we get to see Sammy’s infectious smile again. We love you and we miss you, sweet Sammy.
