In Loving Memory of Gary Castilleja

Our beloved Gary Castilleja passed away unexpectedly on December 8th of 2023 at the age of 60. Gary was an extraordinary father to 9 children, foster parent for 15 years, a loving husband to Sabina for 31 years, and a wonderful friend who touched the lives of those around him.
Gary is survived by his 9 children; Elly (3), Naya (5), Kyra (7), Anya (17), Zoya (18), Cody (22), Kyle (25), Karlo (30), Alan (35); his mother, Connie; and his loving wife, Sabina Castilleja.
Gary dedicated his life to protecting and providing for his family. His children were his greatest priority in life. He always treated others with the upmost respect and dignity.
Gary served in the United States Air Force for 7 years as a Captain Pilot, flying Lockhead AC-130’s. Flying planes, going to the shooting range with his sons and being a handyman are a few of his hobbies that he was most passionate about . Two weeks before he passed, his pilot license was renewed and he was thrilled to be able to fly again. He is now flying with the biggest angel wings that anyone could’ve ever imagined.
Gary was extremely active in the community. Whether it was helping a stranger on the side of the road in need or someone he knew, it didn’t matter, he was there in a heartbeat.
During his last week with us, he donated blood platelets. Two days before his passing, the blood center called Gary to thank him for his donation as it saved another persons life. He also spent his last week volunteering daily at his daughter’s school to help set up the Christmas Shop for the children.
We are all devastated by Gary’s passing and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Gary the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
All benefits will go directly to Gary’s wife, Sabina Castilleja, to help with memorial costs, living expenses and Christmas for the children. Any donations or prayers during this difficult time for the family is extremely appreciated.
